Ghosts on the Balcony
Ghosts on the Balcony transformed the historic Birmingham 8, a theater rumored to be haunted since 1927, into an unparalleled haunted house experience. This immersive attraction, designed by Bluewater, took guests on a chilling journey through a tapestry of terror, weaving together the theater's eerie history with haunting artistry.
“This project was an important milestone for the Detroit Sessions, proving out a proof of concept for a larger horizon project.”

This exclusive event, running throughout October, offered a unique blend of the theatrical and the paranormal. With 11 uniquely themed areas, each meticulously designed and staffed by professional actors, the experience plunged guests into a world where every corner held a new fright. The attraction was more than a haunted house; it was an immersive theatre experience, resonating with the thrill of the unknown and the excitement of exploration.
Guests were invited to traverse the transformed playhouse, now a domain of suspense and surprise. The Victorian-era ambiance, coupled with the building’s own ghostly legends, created an immersive backdrop for an unforgettable Halloween season. Ghosts on the Balcony was not just a haunted attraction; it was a journey into the heart of fear itself, leaving an indelible mark on all who dared to enter.
