SPECTRE
This one night only event was an immersive journey for the senses, blending the arts, both old and new, in a fusion that that touched many levels of emotions and sparked relationships between a newly created community; those who shared the experience.
“This project was an important milestone for the Detroit Sessions, proving out a proof of concept for a larger horizon project.”

Part of the magic of this experience was the mystery that surrounded it. The event had an aura of exclusivity by design. This event happened, documented only by a handful of photos and videos, and then was gone forever. The attendee list was invite-only, curating some of the most influential people in the metro-Detroit area.
Was it a revival of classical music? Or a new found interest in modern art? SPECTRE sought to inspire both, igniting the hearts of all that it touched. Beauty in something unexpected.
Those lucky enough to find their way into this intersection of life, were gifted an experience that blended the arts. Classical music from Ivan Moshchuk (piano) and Roberto González-Monjas (violin) filled the space – a vacant church transformed into gallery space. Behind them sparked the pulsing and rhythmic art of Jason Revok. Ever so subtly the these visions consumed the space, entirely engulfing the room.
